Privacy policy

Last updated 2 October 2026

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect little, never sell it, and never use your product data to train models for others.

What we collect

On the website. When you join the waitlist we ask for your name, work email, company, role and, if you like, the problem you want to solve. When you contact us we ask for your name, email, company and message.

In the product. When your team uses Scopeout we process what you connect and create: analytics, session replays, support tickets, designs, code and the canvases, tests and decision records Scopeout produces.

Automatically. Like any website, our hosting receives standard request data such as IP address and browser type. The site does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use it

  • to reply to you and invite you to the private beta
  • to run Scopeout for your product, and only your product
  • to keep the service secure and working
  • to tell you about changes to Scopeout, which you can opt out of

We never sell personal information, and we never use your product data to train models for other customers.

AI and your product data

Scopeout uses AI models to analyse evidence and produce findings, designs and code. Your data is processed to do that work for you. It is not used to train general models or shared with other customers.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Scopeout, including Google Firebase for hosting and storing waitlist and contact submissions, Google Fonts to serve the site’s fonts, and AI model providers to process product data on your behalf. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Where it lives and how it is protected

Your data is encrypted at rest in Scopeout’s cloud. Access is limited to people who need it to run the service. Enterprise plans add private deployment, single sign-on and a full audit trail.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and contact details until you ask us to delete them or the beta ends. Product data is kept while your team uses Scopeout and deleted when you close your workspace or ask us to.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Email hello@scopeout.co and we will respond within 30 days.

Your privacy choices

You are in control of what Scopeout sees and keeps:

  • Connections. Connect only the tools you choose, and disconnect any of them at any time.
  • Emails. Unsubscribe from product emails using the link in any message.
  • Deletion. Ask us to delete your waitlist entry, contact message or workspace at any time.
  • Tracking. The website sets no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

Scopeout is a tool for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the policy changes and change the date at the top. For meaningful changes we will tell beta teams by email first.
